Recommended Padel Balls

It is interesting to note that only one padel ball brand is currently available on the Amazon.com website.

What I have also included are the official padel balls of the World Padel Tour tournaments. These have been listed with links to Amazon UK where they are currently available.

Dunlop Pro Padel Balls

Dunlop Pro Padel (available on Amazon) balls have been certified for competition use by the Spanish Padel Federation.

I have used Dunlop Pro Padel (available on Amazon) balls a couple of times and have no complaints.

The packaging makes a claim to have higher durability. However, I cannot say that I have seen a noticeable improvement in durability over other top brands. They certainly don’t perform any worse than other brands.

HEAD Padel Pro Balls

Head Padel Pro (Available on Amazon-UK) balls are the padel balls that I use almost every time I play.

They are the official tournament balls of the World Padel Tour as well.

HEAD Padel Pro S Balls

HEAD Padel Pro S (Available on Amazon-UK) balls have a slightly higher internal pressure than the traditional HEAD Padel Pro balls mentioned above.

This feature makes the balls fly through the air faster, bounce higher, and come off the glass further. In this case, the “S” indicates “speed”.

HEAD developed these balls specifically for World Padel Tour tournaments that are played at sea level. This was done to compensate for the way the traditional padel balls fly and bounce at higher altitudes.

The feeling on the World Padel Tour was that when players constantly move from sea-level to altitude on a virtually weekly basis, it was important to have balls that behaved in a constant manner.

Personally, I have not yet had the opportunity to use the HEAD Padel Pro S (Available on Amazon-UK) balls as I have been playing all my padel at an altitude of 1200ft, which is above the recommended ceiling altitude for these balls.
