While watching the World Padel Tour Master Final, the thought crossed my mind: How much do professional padel players earn? When I looked on Google, all I could find were links to articles about the available prize money at various WPT tournaments, but nothing on actual player earnings. So I created a spreadsheet to do just that.
In 2021 the top two players on the WPT men’s tour earned just over $135.000 each while the top two players on the WPT women’s tour earned just under $48.000 each. This is based on actual prize money won and bonuses from the WPT. Endorsement earnings are protected by private information laws.
I was surprised to find out how much less professional padel players earn than I first thought. Be sure to check out the downloadable pdf files own below for how much each player took home in prize money.

Overview Of The Data
The data given in this article has been compiled based on information that is publically available on the World Padel Tour website. It takes actual tournament results and overlays the stipulated prize money per event based published in the tour regulations documents.
I also added in the year-end bonuses paid by the World Padel Tour based on player position within the ranking lists. This is also publically available information.
The information in this data set has been extracted from the 2021 World Padel Tour, the most recent complete season.
What I am unable to include is whether any of the players managed to negotiate appearance fees with tournament organizers, and whatever endorsement earnings they received from their sponsors. These privately negotiated payments are protected under privacy laws.
When looking at these prize money earnings figures, bear in mind that the World Padel Tour ranking list is made up of 560 professional men and 317 professional women in total.
Finally, prize money in the World Padel Tour is paid in Euros. However, the data spreadsheets for 2021 are in both Euros and US Dollars. For ease of reference, all amounts in the main body of this article have been converted to US Dollars.
If you want to keep up to date with the latest live prize-money ranking in US Dollars here is the World Padel Insider 2022 Padel Prize Money Ranking List, updated after each tournament as the season progresses.
